Welcome to Fog City Type, a.k.a. Ben Zotto.

I built out Fog City Gothic as a side-project of the research for a Field Guide to San Francisco street signs. You can check out the whole history here. There was a nice writeup about this project in the San Francisco Chronicle.

I study and write about technology and design (and San Francisco). You can reach me at bzotto at gmail. I’m on social media at @bzotto.
